No posts lately and for that, I'm nearly sorry. But it isn't my fault entirely. Guess what, bitches? I was on the front page of a regional newspaper today! Well, something I wrote and a link to one of my websites was. These people did a ghost hunt and brought along the newspaper crew and the newspaper found my site and copied some of what I wrote and put it in their article along with the URL to the site. Now, they may or may not have violated my copyright but... I don't fuckin' care. Free hits and publicity, bitches. Seriously... My hits on http://ghosthunters.djara.com/ have like... gone up 600% and people are actually reading my stuff. I'm even getting emails from people... Wow. Anywho, you can read the article by clicking here. And you can get the history of the place by clicking here. In other news, a 'friend' of mine is apparently in jail for molesting his 12 year old cousin. He'll probably get what he deserves in jail, though. I mean, he's gay so I'm sure the ass-sex won't bug him but he's really feminine so they're gonna probably wear him out. He's kind of a pretentious dick, though, so let 'em harm him. He's cool at times but dude's like 25 and he sodomized a 12 year old... and it was a family member! Maybe now I can go to clubs with another gay friend of mine who the other guy was always jealous of. Just so you guys know, I'm not gay and I'm not bisexual. But gay clubs are fun. Gay people themselves are fun. They're just cool people. I mean, some are assholes as is the case with any sort of person but... yeah. George W. Bush blows. The extreme left made him all but change his mind for his supreme court nomination and he's gonna blame it on people who just wanted to know more about what kind of person she was. The cunt. Rosa Parks died. That kind of sucks. She was on my list of people I wanted to meet before one of us died. What a hero, though. The woman was like 94 and still going relatively strong. And she was an amazing soul from what I could tell. I wanna go ghost hunting. Its been a REALLY long time for me. And with all of the renewed interest in the paranormal locally and in my site, it makes it even worse. That's about it for now, though. I'm seriously gonna try to post about Ophielia, Chairmen of the Board and my most recent beach trip ASAP but as for now, Shannon's huffing and puffing behind me now to try to annoy me into getting offline so I'm gonna give her her way. Now that I've said something to assure she has something to bitch at me about (she would have found something anyway and I'm sure this part itself will get more bitching), I think I'm gonna go. Oh yeah, one more thing. Am I stupid or is that lass from the OverStock.com commercials like the hottest thing in creation? I want her. And the one that's in the black bikini in that diet pill commercial. And the one in the Fahrenheit diet pill commercial. I was gonna post my portable MP3 player's play list but I gotta jet so... Maybe later. That's all though. Seriously. -=The Prynce |

Today would be John Lennon's 65th birthday if he were still living. He was murdered by Mark David Chapman on December 8, 1980. This December will mark 25 years since his murder. John Lennon meant a hell of a lot more to people than any celebrity has ever meant (Elvis may be the one exception). But I just wanted to write something to let you all know that today is his birthday. He's one of my biggest heroes and one of the greatest people to ever live. For a site dedicated to him, click here. Read the quotes. They're probably the best part. I'll leave you all with the lyrics of some of my favorite songs by him. -=The Prynce Imagine Imagine there's no heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us, Above us only sky, Imagine all the people living for today... Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, No religion too, Imagine all the people living life in peace... Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man, Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, And the world will live as one. God God is a concept, By which we can measure, Our pain, I'll say it again, God is a concept, By which we can measure, Our pain, I don't believe in magic, I don't believe in I-ching, I don't believe in bible, I don't believe in tarot, I don't believe in Hitler, I don't believe in Jesus, I don't believe in Kennedy, I don't believe in Buddha, I don't believe in mantra, I don't believe in Gita, I don't believe in yoga, I don't believe in kings, I don't believe in Elvis, I don't believe in Zimmerman, I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me, Yoko and me, And that's reality. The dream is over, What can I say? The dream is over, Yesterday, I was dreamweaver, But now I'm reborn, I was the walrus, But now I'm John, And so dear friends, You just have to carry on, The dream is over. Working Class Hero As soon as your born they make you feel small, By giving you no time instead of it all, Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. They hurt you at home and they hit you at school, They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool, Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years, Then they expect you to pick a career, When you can't really function you're so full of fear, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV, And you think you're so clever and classless and free, But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. There's room at the top they are telling you still, But first you must learn how to smile as you kill, If you want to be like the folks on the hill, A working class hero is something to be. A working class hero is something to be. If you want to be a hero well just follow me, If you want to be a hero well just follow me. |

I think I'll start this short post (I plan for it to be very short, anyways) with the mention of my first movie release. It's a really short film... In fact, it's as though a short film and a mini film got together and had a baby and it turned out to be a midget. In other words, its really short. You can get the movie in a few ways. If you have a program to view/listen to podcasts or any other sort of RSS or XML aggregator such as Doppler or FeedDemon, you can point a new feed to http://feeds.feedburner.com/prynce-podcast. If you use an online aggregator such as BlogLines or Yahoo's new reader, you can just click that link up there and then click on the image for your specific online aggregator or newsreader and then you will be able to see it from there. But if you don't use RSS/XML or podcasting software, you can just download it like you would any other file. For those of you on a really slow connection that don't have the time to download the file (its only a couple of megabytes), then you can click here to get the movie in a zip file. This version of the file is under one megabyte. If you don't care much about speed (either you just don't care or you have cable/DSL/T1/T3/etc.) and want to be able to view the movie without having to unzip it, you can just click here and you can download the uncompressed file. So watch it, folks. Let me know what you think. If you thought it sucked, tell me. If you thought it was cool, tell me. If you thought it was pretty stupid, without a point, and a waste of time, then you're right on cue. Tell me so. I also wanted to add a little something about mortality as it has been on my mind lately. Dig, in May of this year, my grandmother who basically raised me, died (or was murdered via negligence) in a nursing home. It didn't hurt me too badly, though, as she had suffered from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's among other things for some years and she hadn't been herself in a long time. Then a couple of weeks ago, this guy whom I only sort of knew back in about 6th grade died. Last I remember of him was in 6th grade graduation. My last name was 'Cox' and his was 'Covington' so we were right beside each other apart from this one girl being in between us. I can't say that I ever as much as spoke to the guy but he was pretty funny sometimes and I remember being entertained by him. He also reminded my of ODB (Old Dirty Bastard) so he really stuck in my mind. But a few weeks ago, Shannon's dad (he's a cop) was telling us about some guys getting shot at a club and that one of them was bad off and in the hospital. He told me his name but it rang no bells, 'cause I never really knew him well by his real name. A few days later, though, her dad said they 'pulled the plug' on him. It wasn't until a few days later when I looked at the local newspaper and saw that his nickname was 'Squeaky' until I realized who he was. Then not even a week ago, a guy that Shannon knew and that we both went to high school with was killed in a car crash. I don't think we ever even exchanged as much as a single word and I'm almost unsure if I ever even saw him before, but it still kind of affected me. Then just a day or two ago, Shannon's dad told us about a guy committing suicide who lived about 5 miles from my house. I found out today that he was 17 and apparently, Shannon's brother knew him. I'm not sure if I ever saw the guy or not, though. I may have graduated before he reached high school. But this affected me, too. Not only did he live relatively close to me, but he clearly was depressed from what I've heard and I have thought about suicide many times and made a few (though seemingly half-ass) attempts. Plus he was so young. Its sticking with me, too. Then there's the famous people who have died. A great young comedian named Mitch Hedgeburg(SP?) died. Not to mention Bob Denver (Gilligan, Maynard G.) and most recently Don Adams (Maxwell Smart, Inspector Gadget). I dunno exactly why I'm posting about this. I guess I'm just trying to get it all off of my mind. I'm one of these people who can't stop thinking about things like that especially when I'm alone. The thoughts just linger and get to me even if I didn't know the person. But forgive my little 'spill', here. I just felt compelled to talk about it. Time for bed, though. You people watch my movie and let me know what you think. -=The Prynce |
