"Woman" by John Lennon

Just thought I'd post this song 'cause it's been stuck in my head for a while. It's a really sweet song. Kinda sad, though. I've felt this way about someone before. Guess that's what makes it sad-like.

Anywho, just read it you fudgers.

"Woman" by John Lennon

Woman I can hardly express
My mixed emotions at my thoughtlessness
After all I'm forever in your debt
And woman I will try to express
My inner feelings and thankfulness
For showing me the meaning of success
Ooh well well
Doo doo doo doo doo
Ooh well well
Doo doo doo doo doo

Woman I know you understand
The little child inside the man
Please remember my life is in your hands
And woman hold me close to your heart
However distant don't keep us apart
After all it is written in the stars
Ooh well well
Doo doo doo doo doo
Ooh well well
Doo doo doo doo doo
Well

Woman please let me explain
I never meant to cause you sorrow or pain
So let me tell you again and again and again

(I love you yeah yeah
Now and forever
I love you yeah yeah
Now and forever
I love you yeah yeah
Now and forever
I love you)

Anger...

I'm so pissed off with pseudo patriotism. A monkey can wave a flag and hang other 'cute' phrases and banners. I'm called unpatriotic for wanting the troops home. Others want them to stay there and die but tell ME I should support the troops like them... Hypocracy anyone? We are losing an average of 2 people daily and supporting the people who put them there to die is to cheer the murder of each of them.

Support the troops- oppose their murders.

Fuck You, Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise was on TV Friday morning claiming that psychiatry and its disorders are fictional and do not exist. Tom, fuck you. I've held back from downing on Cruise and Scientology but this is too much.
I suffer from multiple psychiatric disorders including severe depression and I fucking WISH it simply didn't exist. I'll make a post soon to tell how these things have butchered my life or brought me bad things.

More on all of this soon though as I've much more to say.

Don't They Know its the End of the World?

I shall not bother with an introduction or anything... Just gonna hop into the top news stories of the week...

MICHAEL JACKSON WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY ON ALL TEN COUNTS! I freakin' KNEW it! There was no sort of case against him and the jury agreed. After that long trial it took them like a week to get the verdict. That says a lot... lol. That doesn't mean he is INNOCENT... Just that the state did not put forth enough evidence to convict, but as most of you know, I still think him innocent.

So... Tom Snedden... FUCK OFF. You're decade long crusade to crucify Michael Jackson took yet another horrible blow to the chin... Snedden, the public, and everyone else needs to leave him alone. He's weird as hell but that's about all he's guilty of. I'm not saying I'd let my son stay at his house without me by his side the entire time because that's just not a chance I'd be willing to take and I think the child's mother is to blame almost wholey if he did, infact, do what he was found not guilty of. Though there is no evidence he's ever done anything sexual to a child, you've got to be insane to even take that 1% chance that he would do something like that.

But I'm hoping to see him back doing what he does best-- entertaining.

I really think Natalee Holloway is dead. I thought it long before they even arrested those dudes. Its just a feeling much like I had intially about the Mark Hacking case. I knew he killed his wife right when I first saw him on CNN the day after she went missing.
But now, one of the guys they arrested has admitted to killing her and they were searching in some mangroves near the hotel she was staying at and all for her.
Its a sad state of affairs in the whole deal. I really hate when things like this happen. Though I'm in no way personally connected to her (or even anyone in Alabama or Aruba), it does sort of pain me.

Man... It's been miserable here in SC the past few days. For those who don't know, it gets hot here. Really hot. But the heat is only a small part of it all. I can take some high heat but the humidity... UGH. It feels so horrible outside. And it's not even summer yet! I think that's why I love tropical storms and hurricanes. The wind and rain kind of cools things a little.
But you people in other places where it gets to the 90's and above still don't freakin' know 'cause a lot of you don't get the humidity. Imagine if going outside was like stepping into a big ol' saunna. You get sticky and sweaty no matter where you're going. Miserable...

They found a 'distant cousin' of Earth about 15 light years away with a 10-meter diameter telescope in Hawaii. But you can read about that here: http://www.indianexpress.com/full_story.php?content_id=72656

Lance Storm w/ Dawn Marie vs. Lionheart Jericho - Winner was Lance Storm. Dawn Marie was clearly pregnate... Well... My mom had to point it out to me but... still. lol. Justin Credible gave Storm the win by nailing Jericho with a chair shot. Decent match... A little short...

Tajiri vs. Little Guido vs. Super Crazy - Winner was Super Crazy who showed off a killer moonsault from a balcony about 12 feet up and flew about 12 feet out to take out FBI and all. FBI and Mikey Whipwreck were at ringside for their own people. Whipwreck hit Guido with a Whippersnapper and he is soon eliminated. Super Crazy went on to win and it was a GREAT match.

Psicosis vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. - Rey wins this fantastic match against Psicosis who sheds his mask before even entering the ring. As a side note, why did Rey take up to wearing his mask again? But it was a really good match. Psicosis was in great form as was Rey. I've heard they weren't too happy with their match but that's crazy. It was top notch lucha libre style wrestling just like it was when ECW introduced it to the US.

RVD did a shoot interview and tore some new assholes for the WWE members in the crowd and truly shooting from the hip. He's gonna get himself fired from WWE someday. lol. But Rhyno, the 'Man-Beast', hits the ring and takes out RVD. But then the lights die... Some people get what's about to happen... SABU appears in the ring! Then we see a referee in the ring with them...

Rhyno vs. Sabu - Sabu Wins. Now this match was great. RVD ended up helping Sabu out to give Rhyno an Arabian Skull Crusher and it was then an easy win for Sabu. RVD did a lot in this match he shouldn't have done as to protect that knee of his.
After the match, RVD and Sabu point to the sky in honor of the original Shiek, Sabu's uncle (or great uncle... not sure which it is.)

Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero - Benoit wins. Gotta say, this match was better than I thought it would be after being so used to seeing the two in WWE for so long. Eddie tapped to the crossface and it looked like he had a broken nose but I haven't heard anything of it so maybe he didn't.

Mike Awesome vs. Tanaka - Awesome wins. The best match of the night in my book. Styles was downing Awesome heavily in the beginning but kind of started to see why he was ECW champion when he screwed over ECW and their fans. He was really hard on Awesome then after a while it hit him-- Awesome's hardcore! Many tables, chairs, and other weapons were used in the match. MANY big moves were hit, too. Too many highlights here so I'll just highlight the ending. Awesome powerbombs Tanaka through a table on the outside of the ring from the inside and over the top ropes. Awesome then dives over the top and CRUSHES Tanaka... I can't describe it with words... You'd just have to see it. He then pins Tanaka and the match is over. WHAT A MATCH, too!

Heyman then does his amazing shoot interview. I'll post the transcript at the end of this post.

The Dudley Boys vs. The Sandman & Tommy Dreamer - Dudley's win. This match was long and pretty good. Everyone bled. Everyone used and was hit by weapons. Beullah makes a long-awaited return to ECW after having her neck broken by the Dudley's and gets into it with Francine who ran in moment earlier. Lil's Spike came back seein' the colors... lol. It all ended with a 3-D through a table with an ENTIRE BOTTLE of lighter fluid burning on top of it.
Sandman wanted a beer after clearing out the whole ring with his cane.

Steve Austin comes out and Sandman begs him for beer. He says he'll give the entire lockerroom one and they all come out. Austin threatens WWE into the ring and a big ol' fight breaks out. Then old school Tazz comes out and chokes out Angle. Bischoff goes to the commentary table with Styles and Foley and talks shit. Sometime in all of that, Austin tells Sandman he's seen how he drinks beer and just one wouldn't do Sandman any damn good.
But Austin tells Foley to bring Eric to the ring and he does. He gets a 3-D, Flying Headbutt, and a 619. Some of the ECW guys then carry him out and toss him on the back of a truck outside.

Then all ECW guys are drinking beer and the night is over. What a night, though!

I later found out that JBL intentionally busted open Blue Meanie for calling him a bully online which was proven that night. JBL was even screaming things about it to him afterwards. From what I hear, Al Snow was REALLY upset with JBL. Meanie had many staples in his head before that night and JBL hit him full fisted and busted him open and I bet anything he won't be punished. Pisses me off...
Great matches, though. There weren't many but ECW matches tend to be long and exciting throughout and though the wrestlers wanted more time for their matches, it was still great.

Anywho, the DVD is slated to be out later this month or next (kinda soon, isn't it?) so FUCKING RENT OR BUY IT! If you were an old school ECW fan you'll love it. Or if you like violent, bloody matches or matches that the wrestlers don't move around like they're catching their breath the whole time, you'll love it. Blood was shed in less than half of the matches so it goes to show that ECW wasn't all about self-mutilation.

That's all for now, though. I've got someone bitching at me to hurry up and it was their fault it took so long. But anywho, stay tuned!

Heyman looks very emotional…

More “ECW” Chants from the crowd…

Paul Heyman: “I want you to know that I’m not crying…my eyes are red because I was in the back smoking a joint with Van Dam…

I have a need in my heart to thank Tod Gordon for giving me the chance to be creative and book for you crazy bastards. I have a need to thank that man Ron Buffone and his partner Charlie Bruzzese for sticking with us and sitting in a TV Studio and building that TV show for you…you are the craziest bastards I have ever met in my life…I love every one of you.

(Crowd starts to chant “Paul E.”)

Paul Heyman: “And I was gonna take the high road and just say thank you and leave…”

Mick Foley: “Don’t take the high road Paul…”

Paul Heyman: “…but I have something to say to you! (points to the WWE wrestlers in the balcony) You see…I’ve waited a long time to say this to you…Eric Bischoff! But in case you don’t notice…it’s not Paul Heyman with his tail between his legs going to a WCW PPV…YOU ARE IN OUR HOUSE…B****!”

(Crowd cheers and chants “ECW”)

Paul Heyman: “Oh wait a minute… wait a minute… wait a minute…hide your wives…it’s Edge!”

(Crowd begins to chant “You Screwed Matt” to Edge as he reacts with a laugh and starts drinking his beer)

Paul Heyman: “Now Edge…I know nobody with a written promo has the balls to say this to you but…I have two words for you…MATT-FREAKIN’-HARDY!”

(Crowd Erupts in a massive pop and starts chanting “We Want Matt!” as Edge does a spit take with his beer)

Paul Heyman: “Well, with that…I almost forgot about you! Mr. Shoot Promo himself…bounced Checks…ECW went out of business…Hey John…On a personal note…from all of us just to you…since you want to shoot cowboy…the only reason you were WWE Champion for a year, is because Triple H didn’t want to work Tuesdays…”

(JBL mocks Heyman by imitating Redd Foxx telling Elizabeth that he’s coming to heaven with a heart attack as the crowd erupts in approval)

Paul Heyman: “Now one more time for old times sakes…right there so the whole world can see us…this ain’t WCW…this ain’t Monday Night RAW…this ain’t SmackDown!…this ain’t even WWE…this my friends…is E-C-F***ING-W!!”

(Crowd chants “ECW” as Paul Heyman exits the Hammerstein Ballroom)

We Can Dance if We Want To...

Ok so I have been lazy again... Sorry.

Hmm... Where to start? How's about the whole fillibuster deal?

THE FILLIBUSTER IS A USEFUL TOOL USED TO BALANCE POWER IN THE SENATE!! It is a tool that keeps one side from having a complete and unbalance control. What I find odd is the history of the fillibuster and what party used it...
Anyone know the longest fillibuster on record? The late REPUBLICAN (though he was a Democrat at the time, he was still a strong CONSERVATIVE) Strom Thurmond of SC. And you may feel free to correct me, but I think it was a civil rights bill he put so much effort into blocking with the fillibuster. I know he did fillibuster a civil rights bill either way.

But I'm not gonna spend anymore time on the fillibuster. All I can say is that if it is done away with, it'll be one screwed up thing. I'm sure the Republicans will be plenty anxious to get the fillibust back when they lose the majority in both houses of Congress.

Anywho, George W. Bush is an idiot. Did anyone else notice? lol.

Seriously, though. He doesn't support a woman's right to choose which is something I can't understand. He's so keen no 'pre-emptive' strikes and going after terrorists (both of which killed MANY innocent children) as well as capital punishment and... well... you never know... The unborn embryo could some day become a terrorist or commit a capital crime so by his policies involving pre-emptive actions, shouldn't he just kinda... take 'em out before they have the potential to possibly some day do something he doesn't like?

And before anyone says I'm being cruel, it's called SARCASM. He's an idiot and a hypocrite and I was only making a point.

Now onto John Bolton. Not only does he look like a stuffy, insane asshole... He IS a stuffy, insane asshole. Chasing woman while screaming at them in hotels, saying the UN does not exist, and that mustache... How the hell can he be our UN embassador?! HE SAID THE UN DID NOT EXIST!! He said it would not matter if the top ten floors of the UN building were torn off.
I really cannot see how the hell anyone could possibly use any amount of intelligence and still think he'd make a good embassador. Maybe he'll be in the top floor of the UN building when they tear it off of the building... That jerk.

Eddie Albert died a few days ago... For those who don't know, he was "Oliver Windell Douglas" in the 'Green Acres' TV show. He had just turned 99. He also was the warden in the orriginal 'The Longest Yard' movie.

I do believe that people at Guantanmo Bay in Cuba are being abused. Most are being held without representation and I have a feeling many are being abused. I dunno if they've flushed the Koran down the toilet or not but I do think it has been defiled. Apart from the accusations and accounts and all, I know how many Americans are and I know how they treat people and all and it's silly to think someone hasn't done something.

Luis Posada Carriles was arrested and I'm glad. He was a criminal. Yeah he did things to try to toss Castro and all but he was a criminal nonetheless. We'd be all angry and freakin' attack a country that tried to keep away a terrorist we were after.

The
Schapelle Corby lady who is now in prison in Indonesia should be freed. I mean, the Aussies are looking into a smuggling scam that they've been looking at even before all of this went down. It's really unjust, I think. Some terrorist there plotted to kill some 90 Aussies in Indonesia and he got less than 3 years in prison as compared to 20 years she got. Injustice is crazy in other countries too which is almost comforting, lol.
I've heard they may be thinking of trading her for an Indonesian prisoner in Australia. I kinda hope that works out as long at it isn't too much of a criminal. But if it is, he'll be going to Indonesia so that'll be their problem, lol.

Is anyone else having NFL withdrawls? I dunno if I can make it 'til the season's start...

WWE is doing another 'draft' soon... Could be crappy... But it'll get things mixed up a bit and I'm a great fan of change.

Anywho, sorry I couldn't type more but I'm a little busy. I'll do more ASAP or whenever I can.

Who'd Have Thought They'd Lead Ya Back Here Where We Need Ya?

Hm... No introduction today, straight to bussiness, eh?

I'll just start with some older news... Well... Like a week old.

So Terry Schiavo died. Its sad to see someone forced to starve to death no matter who you sided with. Personally, I didn't see where I could side with anyone but Terry. Her parents had a point in that she never told them what she'd want to do in that kind of a situation. And on the same side, it was kind of odd that Michael Schiavo just happened to remember his wife saying she woudln't want to live that way SEVEN YEARS after she'd been in that condition. And reports of them being at each others' necks the night she had the heart attack was suspicious, too. But even if none of that is reason to dislike the guy, the fact that he stopped seeking therapy for her REALLY does chap my ass. There could have been hope for her with therapy...
Well, that and the fact that he was involved with another woman whom he had two children with. That is OPEN adultry and I don't see how the courts didn't enull the marriage or force divorce or SOMETHING. I'm not sure what their options would have been but they should have done something.

But on the side of the husband, he DID go to school and became a nurse to learn how to better care for his wife. And legally, he had the right to decided if she was taken off of life support (which she wasn't on life support in reality) and he did.

Now, simply put... Congress did not belong in the matter. CHECKS AND BALANCES! SEPARATION OF POWERS! Do those phrases mean ANYTHING to the Republicans that lead the charge? Seems unlikely. But while they did go against the Constitution and commit an act that was probably bordering legality, I did support it... It was wrong but I wanted the woman to live. Is that hypocrytical?

But the thing that REALLY got me going was the Right's trying to use this to their advantage. They did and there is no denying it. Sure, they were upset when someone wrote a memo saying they should exploit it 'cause it was pretty much a given that they would and as Nixon learned, documentation can bite you in the ass.

But Bush... The man had the nerve to look into cameras and into people's eyes and say it was only right to "Err on the side of life." Son of a bitch! This is a man that sat idley by as 152 people were executed in his tenure as Texas governor! Of course he didn't sentence them himself, he wasn't the reason the executions were so rapid, and he didn't make the clemency laws. But he didn't try to CHANGE them, either. I REALLY dislike that guy.

For more about George W. Bush's "murders", go to http://www.bushkills.com/

Now the Pope. What a man, eh? Not that he was the best person to ever live or anything, but he was pretty cool. But he did do a lot of travelling and he wasn't unlike Ronald Reagan in that he was another "Great Communicator".
He's gonna be missed and remembered for all he did and the length of his 'reign' for a long, long time.
As could be expected, Republicans have already jumped on it and tried to draw parallels between themselves and the Pope when, in reality, one of the only things they had in common were there opposition to abortion. Did you know I don't like them much? lol.

Also rather recently, we lost Johnnie Cochran. What a great attorney he was, eh? Anyone who could get O.J. off is truly AMAZING. But apart from his job, he seemed to be a great dude. I saw him many times on TV like on Larry King and he was awesome. Dude had CHARISMA. He should have been an entertainer.
But he did do a lot. He was like a rabid dog when it came to civil rights. He wouldn't let up. He was truly a great man and he'll be missed without a doubt.

While on Cochran, I'm going to talk a little about one of his former clients, Michael Jackson.

Personally, I think Michael is innocent. Is he extremely quirky? Yes. Do I think he takes his relationships with children too far? PROBABLY. But that does not mean he has any sort of sexual or illegal relationship with them. I think he takes it too far by letting them stay at his house at all. And when people talk about how he lets kids sleep in his bed, he doesn't mean he's in the bed with them! He is either on the floor or in another room, from what I understand. You have to think about how MASSIVE this man's bedroom must be!

But although I think he's innocent, I wouldn't let my son stay there. As a parent, you are responsible to protect the well-being of your children. After the first allegations (which I also believe to be FALSE), that would be too much of a chance to be taking to let my child stay there. So I think that if he is found guilty, then the boy's parents should be prosecuted for CHILD ENDANGERMENT. If any of it is true, it is the fault of the parents for allowing it to have a chance to take place.

Now people may be saying that the parents are not out just to get money but... How true is that? These are criminal charges he was brough up on now but that's normally how these things would go. Criminal THEN civil. How much would you people like to bet me there will be a civil suit filed if he is found guilty (and maybe if he's ruled not-guilty!)? This way, it give more hope in winning the civil suit and getting MORE money.

So in conclusion... He's innocent. Leave the man alone. There's no law against being a weird fuck, which is his only crime.

Now here's a run-down for the 3/5/05 show, "Beach Bash" at Conway High School:

J-Sin lost to Ultra Dragon in what was actually a pretty cool match. J-Sin was a good heel that will probably be something some day if he works on his conditioning and in-ring skills. He can already work the crowd.

2 the Xtreme defeated Dark Riders of Appocalypse in a mildly entertaining match-up.

Danny $ won the 20 man Bunkhouse Stampede after eliminating Kim Chee (Who was VERY entertaining) in a match that included Rufis, J-Sin and Ultra Dragon.
Danny $ will go on to face AFE Champion DAVID FLAIR November 5th at "Generation Next" in Conway, SC once again.

In the Minies match, Short Sleeve Sampson defeated Todd Stone. It was a very entertaining match!

TWA-TNA and indie superstar SHARKBOY got the win over Man Child. Sharkboy made this match. I thought the persona of Sharkboy seemed cheesey as hell but after seeing him in a match, he was GREAT. He worked the crowd like no one else that night except for Foley and Stro.

Mick Foley then made a speech and donated a $2000 check to McCleod Children's Hospital.

Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young defeated The Bounty Hunters with Gail Kim. It was an ok match with two Bronco Busters by Mae. I was kind of transfixed on GAIL KIM the entire time, though. What a woman... Yumm...
Gail ended up turning on her team.

The Stro beat The Barbarian w/ Fabulous Playboy by DQ after a run-in by Dark Riders of the Appocalypse. 2 the Xtreme ran in to help Stro and they made a match for "Generation Next" in which, if Stro and 2 the Xtreme win, Fabulous Playboy will shave his mullet and if Barbarian and Dark Riders win, Playboy will take over a local DJ's radio show for a few weeks. He will be handcuffed to the DJ during the match.

David Flair came out the winner in a 3-way match with Buff Bagwell and Rick Steiner to be crowned the first AFE Champion. Flair worked the crowd well by saying his dad told him people in Conway had the ugliest kids. He's just a lil 'Naitch... very entertaining.
This match was GREAT! Buff truly was still BUFF. Steiner hasn't changed a bit, either. Steiner helped Buff during the match but turned on him and walked out to give Flair the win.

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka took the win again Greg "The Hammer" Valentine in a steel cage match with Mick Foley as the referee. Foley ended up shoving Sock-O deep in Valentine's mouth after Valentine got physical with Foley, as he was warned before the match.
The match was really good but short. I'd have liked to see it go on at least ten more minutes.

Well, that's about it for tonight. I'll post more ASAP. This was just a quick post, really. Stay tuned!

I Remember When Rock Was Young... -- INCOMPLETE POST FROM A WHILE AGO. I DO NOT HAVE THE DATE FOR IT

Well here I am again. Nothing better to do than post another entry. I've been a little busy lately so forgive my slowness in updating.

Well, yesterday was rather uneventful. I went to Shannon's and we went to Shoney's and went back to her house and that's about it.

The day before was better. I got up early and Shannon came over and Darrell, Shannon, and I went to the Dillon County Complex so Darrell and I could see if they had any jobs worth trying for at job service. They didn't really have anything good but Darrell went to this thingy and talked to the people about different jobs and he told me to come in there with him so I went and we applied for jobs with a lumber company. We started talking to the ladies in there about hauntings and shit and ghosts after Darrell said something like "Too bad we can't get a job using our real talents" and I was like "We have talents?" and he was like "I mean 'paranormal investigation'" and the women in there were like talking about their experiences with ghosts and shit and one of them lives near Montrose and told us she used to go down there all the time and she said she'd been to Alice's grave and shit. It was cool. So we left there and went to Shannon's b/c she and I had a class at like 3:45 so we couldn't go where we had wanted to just yet.

So Shannon and I went to her class about breast feeding (she's pregnant for those of you who don't know) and it was pretty cool. Lots of videos with boobies. lol. You'd think "Ah, fat woman with icky droopy boobies" but they were cool boobies. I'll shut up... lol.

Well later, Darrell called and asked if I would be busy at about 8PM (He knew I had nothing to do lol) and that if I was free we could go check out some haunted sites. So I took a nap and woke up at 8 expecting he would show up around 8:15 at best but he was there at 8:03! I was amazed and shit! lol.
We went to a store on the other side of town for Shannon then we headed to McColl. We got there and Darrell got some money from his grandmother and then got some more gas and we headed through Bennitsville(sp?) and we pulled over in some cemetery that covered two sides of the road. We road on the first side and we were all creeped out. It was pretty creepy looking in there. We saw a Moselium(sp?) on that side but he said it wasn't the one he wanted to show us so we went to the other side and we found it and it was good and creepy. It was big and round and made of stone and it was there since like 1910 I think it said. We went to the other side of the cemetery again and we went over to the first moselium(sp?) we had seen and went up to it and inside the gate and we walked up to it and Shannon opened the doors and there was all kinds of weird shit down in there. It was kind of creepy.

But anyway, we left there and headed to Colonel Kolb's Tomb between Bennetsville and Society Hill. We turned down Col. Kolb's Tomb Rd. and that alone was plenty creepy. Then we found the tomb itself and it was kind of cool. It wasn't too creepy but the area around it was. We heard a little something in the woods and Darrell said he saw a person in the woods and then we went down to the river which is right behind it and we heard shit in the river.
While at the River, we heard what sounded like a car coming up and then we saw headlights so we took off back to the car to see who it was and a truck full of rednecks circled around the tomb and were like "Ya'll have permission to be out here?" and we were like "Uh..." and they were like "You know who's land this is?" and we were like "No." and they were like "Well we own this land and we don't want no trouble but we use it for coon hunting and we don't want nobody to fuck it up. Ya'll need to get going and not come back here no more." and we got in the car and left since we had only one pocket nice between us and we didn't know what they had. We were pretty sure they didn't own it but we couldn't prove it just then... More on that later.

So we left there and all that shit and the hicks followed us all the way back to town and we were looking for a place to pull over to see if they would follow us but when we got into town they turned off. Shannon and I were flipping them off almost the whole time back.

Then we went back to Dillon and that was that for that night.

What More in the Name of Love?

I've been lazy the past few days and haven't had a chance to post yet but I thought I needed to today.

This day in 1968, a great life was senselessly brought to an end by ignorance. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on the balcony of a Memphis motel.

I felt that I should post something today to the memory of him and while time is short, I'd just like to say that he was a brilliant mind that wanted nothing more than harmony and peace through peaceful means. He was not a bigot or a racist as most bigots and racists will claim. He was a loving man who wanted ALL people to be free.

But as I said, time is short so I decieded to just post the lyrics to a GREAT son by U2 that is about this great man. Read it. Enjoy.

-=The Prynce

Pride (In The Name Of Love)
by U2

One man come in the name of love
One man come and go
One man come, he to justify
One man to overthrow

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love

One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man he resist
One man washed on an empty beach.
One man betrayed with a kiss

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love

(nobody like you...)

Early morning, April 4
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love...
